Important Deadlines

FOR UNDERGRADUATES ENTERING FALL 2023

Here are some important dates to keep in mind as you prepare to come to Belmont next fall.

December 1, 2022

Priority deadline for FAFSA submission (freshmen only). Belmont will begin sending financial aid award notifications to admitted students who have completed their FAFSA in January of 2023.

March 18, 2023

Be Belmont Day, a day for admitted freshman and transfer students to learn in-depth about the Belmont experience. Register Now!

May 1, 2023

Deadline for non-refundable deposit submission for fall term freshman admission (December 1 is the deadline for spring term admission)

July 1, 2023

Request your final high school and/or college transcript(s) be sent to Belmont.

Admission is contingent upon Belmont receiving your final transcript(s) prior to the first day of classes.

CELEBRATE!

Use the #Accepted2Belmont hashtag on the enclosed banner in your acceptance packet that was mailed to you and don’t forget to join your admitted student Facebook group.

Register for Be Belmont Day

Be Belmont Day is an event for admitted freshman and transfer students and their families. Register Now!

Pay your enrollment deposit

Freshman must submit their $250 non-refundable enrollment deposit online at newbruins.com/pay-deposit by December 1, 2022 for Spring 2023 and May 1, 2023 for Fall 2023.

Apply for Financial Aid

Submit the FAFSA by December 1 for Fall 2023 applicants and by November 1 for Spring 2023. Information on merit scholarships.

Submit Your Housing Application

Housing information will be sent to you within one week after your enrollment deposit is processed. Information on campus housing.

Schedule Your Towering Traditions New Student Orientation Session

Students enrolling in Fall 2023 can register for Summer Orientation in late January after submitting their enrollment deposit. Students enrolling in Spring 2023 can register for Spring Orientation starting in November after submitting their enrollment deposit. Information about Summer and Spring Orientation.

Complete your Pre-Orientation Checklist

Visit the Orientation website to view a comprehensive list of the steps you need to complete prior to Orientation.

Attend Towering Traditions New Student Orientation

During Towering Traditions New Student Orientation, you’ll discuss your academic plan, register for your first semester of classes and learn about the values, commitments and mission that shape the Belmont community.

Your parents/guardians are invited to participate and learn pertinent information about your next steps into higher education.

Towering Traditions New Student Orientation is offered in June for all deposited freshman and transfer students for the Fall Term, and Spring Orientation is held in January for all deposited students entering in the Spring.

Submit Required Student Health Services Information

Belmont requires all students to submit a completed Medical History Form, submit immunization records, input immunization dates and verify health insurance by the end of your Towering Traditions Orientation session. Instructions are sent via email two weeks after you have paid your deposit.

Submit Transcripts

Request that your final high school and/or college transcripts be sent to Belmont’s Office of Admissions.

Electronic copies are accepted from Parchment, Clearinghouse, Naviance or SCOIR (if your school participates). Or you may have an official hard copy mailed directly to our offices at: Office of Admissions, 1900 Belmont Blvd., Nashville, TN 37212
